This year 33 UDA soccer students arrived on campus at The University of Chester. It has been a long road for many students and families, beginning with the recruitment process, involving recruitment camps and personal visits to campus. The initial target set was for a limited intake, one squad, for each specific year to ensure a quality student experience for all players. UDA welcomes coach Tom Gould to the UDA soccer staff. Tom holds a B.Sc (Hons) Exercise And Sports Science and M.Sc in Physiology. He is the latest addition to the UDA soccer staff and will work with students across the academy structure. Tom brings expertise in the areas of Performance and Athletic development for players. His goal will be able to optimize performance levels for players utilizing his professional knowledge in sports science field. Tom works as a lead coach within the Stoke City FC academy.
