Coach Reilly, stated, “It will be a great opportunity for the prospects to get professional coaching from Jon McCarthy who has played over 600 professional league games and played at the very top of the pro game in the English Premiership. However, it is Jon’s academic background (B.Sc) and his professional coaching credentials and experience that will provide an unparalleled coaching experience for the students.”
Reilly added, “Joel has set up games against Chester City FC, Southport FC and a select XI from the official Everton FC Academy. In addition, one of our training sessions will take place at the training academy site of Manchester City. This will give the students, in addition to a tour of the grounds, an insight into training in a professional environment at the top level.”
