Jeff Thompson, Director at UDA stated, “We are very excited to have someone of Mac’s ability joining our program and recruitment team. His broad range of skills will serve UDA well. His initial target will be to work with the director of soccer recruitment, Seamus, to develop and deliver a women’s soccer program.”
Thompson stated further, “There is no doubt that Mac is one the best in the business of building programs; he started the men’s soccer program in 2001 at Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Ohio taking them to a national final and numerous championships. He has produced many All-Americans, both academic and on the field of play.”
Thompson concluded, “Mac’s knowledge across the men’s and women’s game is unsurpassed when it comes to recruitment for soccer. Given his knowledge and skill we are confident he will be able to translate these skills to develop and operate recruitment across all UDA sports platforms.”
